Artavi Med Spa offers chemical peels to those who want quick, effective, anti-aging results right now. A chemical peel is great for someone who wants a significantly smoother and younger looking complexion. It speeds up the natural exfoliation process to diminish years of fine lines, wrinkles, age spots, acne, and uneven skin tone and texture. A chemical peel can be one of the safest procedures for skin rejuvenation. Peels come in different strengths which correlate to different depths; the deeper the peel, the more dramatic the change. We offer the Skinmedica Illuminize™ peel which is a more superficial peel perfect for those who want a quick and visible glow with no downtime. Our deeper peels include the VI Peel line.
Depending on the type of peel, it can be repeated every two weeks until the desired effect is achieved. Thereafter, a maintenance peel can be done every 4 to 6 weeks to maintain results. It is also equally crucial to continue a good at-home skincare regimen with active ingredients in between peels.

+How long does a peel take?
Any of our chemical peels whether SkinMedica or VI Peel can take about 10-30 minutes.
+ When will I see results?
With the SkinMedica Illuminize™ peel, results can be seen almost immediately and continue to improve over the week. With the VI Peel range, the peeling process can last about 3-4 days and the full results are seen about one week after treatment. Once the peeling process ends, new glowing skin will be revealed.
+ How are your chemical peels different from the ones I can buy myself?
The peels we can perform at our med spa have higher concentrations of peeling agents and penetrate much deeper than those that are available over the counter. This is because these are done under physician supervision. Deeper peels bring about a more noticeable change in the skin which cannot be achieved with more superficial peels that are available for retail purchase to be done at home.

The SkinMedica Illuminize peel is ideal for first-time patients or those looking for quick skin enhancement. It is a superficial peel used for mild skin imperfections. The VI Purify Precision Plus peel is for those with acne and hyperpigmentation from acne scars. The VI Precision Plus peel is for anyone with anti-aging concerns and especially for those with hyperpigmentation or melasma.
